March Events

Meetings are on Wednesdays at 8pm in Derring 1090. Bring friends!

March Blood Sits (advertising for blood drives) will be on March 18th through the 20th from 9am-3pm. The location of these sits will be announced in upcoming meetings.

The March Blood Drive is scheduled for the 25th - 27th. It will take place in the Old Dominion Ballroom in Squires. The time of the blood drive will be announced at upcoming meetings.

A social for March is in the works. More details will be announced at meetings.

We hope to do another camping trip in March.

There will be volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity and the Humane Society in March.

April Events

The Big Event is on April 5th this year. The Red Cross Club usually has two teams volunteering.

The date for the Virginia Tech Relay for Life is April 18th.

Officer nomination will take place on April 9th. Please be at this meeting.

The April 16th meeting will be canceled in Remembrance.

Relay for Life will be on April 18th.

Officer Elections will take place on the 23rd. Please be at this meeting.

Events like Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, and a Camping trip are being planned.

May Events

We will have our end of the year banquet in May. It's always a blast.

Summer

Tracy is wondering if the people who are staying for summer school are interested in trying to keep a small Red Cross Club going over the summer. Email Kyle at kjberkey@vt.edu if you are going to be in Blacksburg and are interested so we can decide if it is appropriate to have a group.

The club will not have any summer events if there aren't enough people able or interested in a summer club. Have a wonderful break.
