Who Are We?

Virgina Tech students looking to serve the Blacksburg area.

What do we do?

Co-sponsor VT blood drives which involves advertising the drives, recruiting donors, and volunteering at the drive. We are also starting to recruit platelet donors and educate the public on this new type of donation.

We do other local community service like visiting the Humane Society and retirement homes.

We have a good time and reward active members with social events like dinners, bowling, movies, parties, etc.

How can you get involved?

Donate blood or platelets at our monthly drives, or anytime downtown.

Volunteer with us, either individually or your whole organization.

Become a member and get to know a smaller group within the large student body, and enjoy making a difference.

Check us out at one of our weekly meetings, visitors are always welcome! Meetings are typically 8pm every Wednesday in Derring 1090. Check the announcements for exceptions.

Contact an officer to establish a personal contact for your specific needs (press questions, vounteering, membership questions, etc.)

Look at upcoming events to see when our next blood drive is, or check out our online signup to go ahead and schedule a donation.

Join our listservs and choose to be notified about volunteer opportunities and/or upcoming blood drives.
